This is a wood fired stoneware canister with a porcelain slip and natural ash glaze. This piece was fired for 30 hours using native hardwoods collected from the land where I live.
This piece is part of the collection of pieces from the 2nd firing of my brand new kiln, built in summer 2025.
The cast brass poppy knob was made by Evan Chambers.
It is approximate 10” tall and 10” diameter.
