When Swen came for the Michiana Pottery Tour earlier this fall he spent some time demonstrating his amazing brushwork technique. All of these paintings are free hand and one of a kind.
After he completed his paintings on these pieces, I glazed and wadded them in preparation for the the inaugural firing of my new train kiln. They were fired for 30 hours, and upon completion I added a layer of decals for a final firing.
These are one of a kind pieces for sure.
